APPOINTMENTS
consultTo make an appointment with doctor or nurse either telephone or call during our office opening times. The telephone is not transferred during lunchtimes apart from Wednesdays when we close at 1.00 p.m. All consultations with the doctor are made by appointment. Although we are often very busy, we try to give you an appointment within two days. We are a group practice, so although you are registered with only one of the doctors, you are welcome to see whichever doctor you wish, provided appointments are available. Some details may be asked when you make the appointment.

If you are aged 16 to 75 years and have not been seen within the last three years you may request a consultation with the practice nurse, or healthcare assistant.

URGENT APPOINTMENTS
If you feel you need to be seen more urgently than a routine appointment, please tell the receptionist. She will ask the doctor to assess the problem and arrange an appropriate time.

TELEPHONE CONTACT
Some minor ailments or concerns can be dealt with by telephone to the doctors or practice nurses. This is usually done by the reception staff asking details when you ring to make an appointment. If you want to speak to either a doctor or practice nurse the receptionist will log the information onto our computer system for them to contact you, usually by the end of the surgery. You can also ask for a doctor or nurse to speak with you regarding other queries such as medication. These requests are undertaken at the end of the surgery.
